· Happy Birthday program
The Oregon Area Fire/EMS District would like
to help make your son or daughter's next birthday one to
remember. If your Son or daughter's birthday party
is in the Oregon Area Fire/EMS District, we would
love to stop by with a fire truck to wish them a happy birthday.

· “We Care” Smoke Detector program

This program is designed to remind people to change the
batteries in their smoke detectors. This program was started
on February 14th, when we helped a local floral shop deliver
flowers in the district. As we delivered the flowers we checked
and or replaced the batteries in the smoke detectors.
· Two Day Safety Camp
Within a "camp" format of teams, songs and games lead by
counselors, the campers move from one module to another
learning safety concepts about fire, water, biking, first aid,
roller balding and vehicle safety. The two days of
activities end with a ice-cream social

The Oregon Area Fire/EMS District, along with some
area businesses, would like to reward children for wearing
their bicycle helmet. When the Fire/EMS apparatus are
returning from a call or are out in the community, if we
spot a child wearing their helmet we will give them a
card that can be redeemed at an area businesses for a free gift.
The card is valid from June 1st until August 31st.
