Oregon Area Fire & EMS is teaming up with Oregon Area CARES Community Coalition and the Dane County Sheriff’s Office for the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Thursday, April 23rd.

This year’s collection site has moved. Drop off your unused or expired medications at the Oregon Fire & EMS Station, located at 131 Spring St in Oregon, from 9AM to 11AM.

Take Back Day offers a safe, convenient, and anonymous way to dispose of medications that are no longer needed. Keeping unused prescriptions out of medicine cabinets helps reduce the risk of misuse and keeps them out of local waterways.

No paperwork, no questions — just drop it off and go.
